About Jacqui

Jacqui is an Artist, Advertising Art Director and Graphic Designer, passionate about expressing her innermost feelings through her paintings and sculptures. Her key inspiration is drawn from the vivacity and innocence of her daughters all aged under 7. Having graduated from Griffith University- Queenlad College Of Art with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Illustration in 1994, she illustrated children’s stories in the Young Explorer, a Singapore Airline’s Inflight magazine for children. Her next 18 years were spent in advertising as a Graphic Designer and Art Director working on illustrations, ad layouts, and storyboards for an array of national and international brands.

The latest collection will incorporate a selection of Jacqui’s paintings and graphic design within Tengdahl’s new collection.

The mum the artist the fundraiser

Jacqui is also a Royal mum, whose daughter Sophia was born premature at 27 weeks, held a very successful fund-raising art exhibition at the RBWH in March this year. It was Jacqui’s way of saying thank you to the hospital and dedicated team who supported and secured Sophia’s eventual release from hospital. 21 paintings were sold with the RBWH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit the sole beneficiary.

Heart For The Royal Exhibition A Winner

For Jacqui, the triumph was that she raised in excess of $I0,500 for neonatal care through the sale of paintings at her month long exhibition at the RBWH. Jacqui’s passion is her art and as she points out, her heart is in the art. Her generosity has benefited other families’ premature babies, with the RBWH being able to purchase a much needed $5000 commercial-grade freezer for the Unit’s Milk Bank.
