Lynette Marcou – Artist Lynette Marcou is a local artist, currently residing in Bentleigh East. Lynette originally worked for graphic design studios, however, she soon realised that painting was her true call. She has also tutored students in decorative painting, but has since transitioned into expressing her creativity through fine art.
“Painting for me is very much about self-expression. Painting scenery gives me an appreciation of both the complexity and simplicity of life.
Whether I am painting a busy city scene or a peaceful bayside scene, capturing the essence of an environment is equally rewarding.”
Lynette’s watercolour, acrylic and oil paintings, have earned her positions in exhibitions and have won her various awards. Amongst the exhibits she has been involved in, are Camberwell Art Show; St. Kevin’s Art Show and Without Pier Gallery. Lynette still considers herself a student of the arts and is eager to continue learning.
